On February 21, 2014, the Joint Training Partnership of the California State Association of Counties, California State Sheriffs’ Association, and the Chief Probation Officers of California is facilitating an educational course: “Nuts and Bolts – Connecting Court-Involved Individuals to Treatment under the Affordable Care Act (ACA)”.  The course will answer questions related to how justice-involved individuals can better access healthcare and behavioral health treatment services under the ACA.  County stakeholders are strongly encouraged to attend, particularly those involved with: Corrections, Probation, County Administrators, Law Enforcement, Courts, District Attorney, Judges, Public Defenders, Pretrial Services and Healthcare and Behavioral Health Providers.   Please see the JTP ACA Course Flyer  for additional information.
